The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it really is alarmed with regard to the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to SRD your large sassa status number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The service point produced for intervention ordeals a significant influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for that office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In status sassa this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more means to empower the servicing of all buyers and improve usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
